iOS 27.1: New Features to Expect and Release Date

Apple's press release for the iPhone Duo last week said the device will ship with iOS 27.1 , which essentially confirms the software update's release timing. iPhone Duo launches on Friday, October 23, so we can expect iOS 27.1 to be released by that date at the latest — likely several days earlier. Following three months of beta testing, iOS 27 will be released to the public today , and the first beta of iOS 27.1 will likely follow soon after.
