Gabon Tests National Cybersecurity Readiness With Simulated Cyberattack Exercise

Gabon has strengthened its national cybersecurity preparedness through a simulated cyberattack exercise involving several government administrations. The national cybersecurity exercise was held on September 11, 2026, at the headquarters of the Agence Nationale des Infrastructures Numériques et des Fréquences (ANINF). The exercise was designed to test the country’s ability to detect, respond to and coordinate a response to a cyber incident.
