New standalone Roblox games will spread safety risks beyond the main app

Roblox is pushing its games into standalone apps and web browsers even as 182 federal child sexual exploitation cases remain pending. Roblox The company announced September 11 that creators will be able to release standalone games for mobile devices, PCs, and consoles. Players will also be able to open Roblox games in Chrome by the end of 2026 without installing the main app.
